Axial Single and Double Row Spherical Roller Bearing also named Thrust Spherical Roller Bearings, these are the same with spherical roller bearings, both of them are all self-aligning design, the raceway surface of the seat is a sphere which centered on a point and be coincident with the center axis of the bearing. and also the rollers of Thrust Spherical Roller Bearings are spherical, Therefore, it has self-aligning function, Less sensitive to concentricity and shaft deflection.

Thrust Spherical roller bearings are used to support axial and radial combined loads with axial loads, but radial loads must not exceed 55% of axial loads. Compared with other thrust roller bearings, this type of bearing has lower friction factor, higher speed and has self-aligning performance.

 

Spherical Roller Thrust Bearings, It also normally named Axial spherical roller bearing, from it's name, we can see the spherical roller bearing are the same design with spherical roller thrust bearing,  in the E version have proved highly effective where high axial loads are present and there is a need to compensate for shaft deflections and/or misalignment of bearing seats.

The cage is generally made of a brass solid frame and a pressed steel frame. When a brass solid cage is used, the rear post code of the cage is not marked, and the remaining logos are corresponding to the post code. When the pressed steel cage is used, the suffix of Spherical roller Thrust bearing will be E.
